Our bio reads too long to mention. We have been Coffs locals for many years with several of the guys playing since school days. There is a air of nostalgia when we go through our times together with a lot of memories of different gigs and different experiences on the road. One notable time was when the guys from INXS lobbed for a party and were politely told to piss off! If you want to know a brief history of the band and how we all got to this stage come along to one of our shows I'm sure we'll run through the countless support gigs and previous bands we have been in.

The Groove Robbers played their first gig in December 2001. The members of the band had been playing for many years in various musical genres including blues, soul, funk and rock. Billy Frost the bass player had actually made it as a rock star in the eighties in the band 1927 along with his brother Gary. Front man Guy Delandro had written songs with INXS, Icehouse and Richard Clapton and had his own record deal with Warners in Los Angeles in the eighties.
